Freestyle Development Team

Mount Kato Park Team

Snowboarders & Skiers Ages 8 to 18

Kids love to play on boards and skis weather fast or slow, forward or backward, grinding or jumping. The Mount Kato Park Team provides an environment where kids can learn and develop these skills in a safe, guided environment. Freestyle is a combination of riding and skiing with acrobatics. Where individuals can challenge themselves and the slopes over jumps, rails and boxes.  Safety and skill development go hand in hand as participants will learn park etiquette with basic skills while building their range of tricks. Practices are designed to be challenging and fun while helping each individual develop his or her athletic skills and confidence. This program will consist of seven practices plus four competitions with other freestyle teams. additional practices maybe available based on interest.
