Explore the Mount Kato Terrain Parks!

Mount Kato is home to a variety of terrain parks designed for every skill level, from first-timers to seasoned shredders. Sundance is our main park, offering a diverse range of small, medium, and large features to challenge and excite. You’ll find jumps, rails, boxes, and more, all meticulously shaped and maintained by our dedicated park crew.

Before the entire mountain is blanketed in snow, we often kick off the season with a mini-park setup in the Tubing Park, providing an early opportunity to get your freestyle fix. As the season progresses and snowmaking ramps up, you’ll discover additional park features scattered across other trails. Keep an eye out for features on Little Forest and Sleepy Creek Cutoff.

For those just dipping their toes into the world of freestyle, our Progression Parks located at the top of Birch Coulee and the beginning of Timberwolf Trail are the perfect starting point. These parks are designed with smaller, more approachable features to help you comfortably learn new tricks and build confidence.
